Our leisurely walk will take us past the city’s attractions where we’ll discuss the wine industry and how it became one of the most important in the world, as well as the significance of the river from Roman times to the Nazi occupation. We accept cancellations a week before the tour date and you can do it through our website. If you booked through a partner’s website then you will need to read their terms and conditions as we cannot guarantee a refund. We cannot provide refunds less than 7 days prior to the tour.
We still walk if it is raining! We do our best to stop in sheltered areas to speak and often will have some spare umbrellas or even ponchos for sale if the rain seems unrelenting.
We accept cash at the beginning of the tour, at the start location. However, waiting to pay with cash does not guarantee you a place on our popular tasting tours where space is limited so we recommend booking online in advance.
You can pay online with a credit card and we also take credit card payments at the tour start location.
